Outside Streetball Festival
April 4, 2026 | The Refinery | 12-9pm
Outside Streetball is Charleston’s first streetball, music, and arts festival. It’s bigger than basketball. Born from a journey chasing courts around the world, Outside brings that global street energy home. This is where hoops, music, and art meet the energy of the city in one full-out celebration. We’re here to connect creators, competitors, and communities, from jaw-dropping dunks to live musical performances, bold murals, and great food.
Outside is for anyone who sees the world as a canvas - or a court. Whether you're here to play, perform, or just enjoy a unique experience, Outside Streetball Festival is for you.
More information can be found here. Hoops Against Homelessness is a Community Partner for this year’s Outside Streetball Fest.
Hoops on the Mat
April 18, 2026 | The Works Downtown | 2pm
Join us for a high energy class at The Works Downtown, led by Works instructor Emily Valentine, with all proceeds benefitting Hoops Against Homelessness. Emily will lead a vinyasa style class with fun cardio bursts thrown in and finish out the hour with an extended stretch to reset as a community.
All ages and experience levels welcome. Bring your own mat, towel, and water bottle, if you can. Rentals are available if needed. Class is heated. Paid parking is available in the Greystar garage or along streets close by for free.

know Wade
I'm a seventh grader at Daniel Island School and I started Hoops Against Homelessness as a fundraiser in 2020. I saw someone homeless on the street and I wanted to do something to help. I had to think of something fun, and I combined my love of basketball and my passion to help. That's where Hoops Against Homelessness came from! I've been inspired by so many helpful people and businesses in our community and really love seeing people come together to help!
